A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!

⚔️ WHAT A RAID, WARRIORS! ⚔️


Yesterday's BBB was absolutely fantastic! Our alternative Viking horde showed up in full force, turning The Nightingale into a modern-day Valhalla filled with laughter, creativity, and some seriously amazing outfits!


The shopping was FIERCE (like proper Viking fierce!), we saw so many of you leaving with bags full of handcrafted treasures from our incredible artisan traders. Those alternative pieces were flying off stalls faster than Thor's hammer!


The atmosphere? Pure magic! From the stunning Viking costumes to the excited chatter around every stall, the energy was absolutely incredible. Our traders' beautiful handcrafted pieces found their perfect homes, and the creative spirit of our community was stronger than ever! To everyone who joined our alternative raid - whether you came dressed as a warrior, a shield-maiden, or your own unique take on Viking style - you made this BBB absolutely legendary!


To our performer for the day - Oedipussi Rex, who wowed us with their weird and oddly satisfying performances, we throw a huge viking rawr at you! You got the crowd involved, broke down the barriers of.. Something, we’re not sure what, but you did it! Complete with disco ball dick AND encore. Let it grow my friend.. Let it grow.


By Odin's beard, you all brought your A-game to yesterday's Best Dressed competition! Our halls were filled with stunning shield-wielders, brilliant berserkers, and some of the most creative Viking interpretations we've ever seen! It goes without saying that you ALL took the best dressed comp seriously and with such a hoard to choose from, it really was a tough decision. When it comes down to it, we are a fickle bunch and we do love a good helmet… Our winner this month donned a spectacular, (although we’re not sure how historically accurate, but who are we to be the historians) getup and nabbed May’s Viking Trophy! Bamboozled by your shining helmet, we didn’t get your name, so hit us up if you want to!



And to our Social Media Viking Victor (#BBBViking winner), your photogenic fierce look earned you those return tickets! The wings, the scales, drama, we loved it! Good job CallMeNymph you were Rawsome!

The wonderful Bootblack Munch hosted by _Pine_ & ParkerLeather which was held on the top floor. Thank you for keeping the leather and latex too hot to handle today, we’re sure you were rushed off your boots with so many shiny folks walking about the building!


SHINE BRIGHT: LATEX MUNCH!

Our latex-loving community came together in style yesterday for another amazing munch with folks traveling from Mach2! The squeaks and squeals of excitement (and maybe a bit from the latex!) filled the room as both newcomers and veterans shared tips, tricks, and plenty of laughs.

From care advice to styling tips, the knowledge sharing was as polished as the outfits! And those combinations? Absolutely stunning!

Big thanks to our experienced crew Latex-Devotion and enthusiasts for welcoming newbies with open arms (and plenty of silicone shine recommendations! 😉)


FOR EARTHMOM

Yesterday, our alternative family came together in the most beautiful way to honor one of our own. That minute of noise shook the very foundations of The Nightingale, just as EarthMom shook up the alternative scene when she and Aychee created BBB back in 1999. Every shout, every holler, every scream was filled with love, respect, and gratitude for the incredible woman who helped build this safe space for our community.

To everyone who contributed to the flower tribute - your generosity mirrors the warmth and love that EarthMom brought to every BBB. She, along with Aychee, created more than just a market; they created a home for all of us who dance to a different beat.

Aychee - our hearts are with you. EarthMom's legacy lives on in every BBB, in every smile, in every connection made within these walls. She helped create something truly magical, and we'll continue to honor that magic at every event.


Rest peacefully and pervertedly, EarthMom. Your alternative family will keep making noise, keep pushing for the community, and keep building the inclusive space you helped create. 🖤
