We have tried to round up our important information/Frequently asked questions here for you! If you cannot find the answer you are looking for please feel free to get in touch! 

 

LOCATION/DATES/TIMES AND ENTRY

The BBB is held at The Village Inn/Nightingale Club. The ground floor is the Village Inn and the middle and top floor are the Nightingale Club. Same building, two names. 

18 KENT STREET BIRMINGHAM, B5 6RD

BBB and Afterparty fall on the 2nd Saturday of the month, years dates and themes can be found on the 2026 events page.

BBB: 12NOON-6PM £8

AFTERPARTY: 7PM-12MIDNIGHT £15​

ACCESSIBILITY FOR BOTH

Wheelchair accessible flat entrance, lift to upper floors and wheelchair accessible toilets on each floor.

BBB: NO dogs apart from service dogs.

AP: NO dogs.

OVER 18 ONLY FOR BOTH

(proof may be required, please don't be offended, take the compliment, your skin's fantastic!).
 

CASH OR CARD?

Both! For entry you can now pay either way! For the stalls, we always advise a mix of both but as a general rule our traders accept card payments.

 

COVID POLICY

Please do not come to the venue if you have any Covid symptoms, or have been near anyone who is infectious or test positive. Please do your best to keep everyone in our community safe on the day.

​BBB DRESS CODE

We offer monthly themes which attendees are welcome to join in with (especially for the best dressed competition) but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Some folks choose to dress up, others prefer casual. Exposed chests/breasts and bottoms are fine, genitals must be covered and please leave the insertable tails at home. Please be respectful of our neighbours by keeping covered upon entry and save the big outfit reveal for inside!​

AP DRESS CODE

For the evening only, minimum smart casual, NO BLUE JEANS OR TRACKSUITS please. Exposed chests/breasts and bottoms are fine, genitals must be covered and please leave the insertable tails at home. Please be respectful of our neighbours and keep covered upon entry and save the big outfit reveal for inside!​

 

CHANGING/CLOAKROOM FOR BBB

The BBB is well known for its fabulous fashions and many attendees like to dress up for the day, if you're feeling nervous about your debut outfit and wish to arrive in your civvies please do take advantage of the changing cubicle on the middle floor (or the toilets if you prefer).We have coat and bag storage located in Underground (just a name not actually under ground) £1 per item/per event and manned all day! Please be advised we take payment for the cloakroom at the front door.

CHANGING/CLOAKROOM FOR AFTERPARTY

Small rail space and bag storage available £1 per item/per event and manned all evening. We do not offer changing room space at the Afterparty. Some folks opt for outfits under long coats where others prefer to change in the toilets.

 

FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE

BBB FOOD AND DRINK? All the usual soft and hard drinks as well as coffee and tea available at the bars on the ground and top floors. Food vendors available in the ground floor beer garden. MrsWsgglesCakes available from 2pm. You are welcome to pop out for lunch, grab a hand stamp from reception so you can return later.​​

AP FOOD AND DRINK? - The middle floor bar is available from 7pm-11:45pm.- MrsWagglesCakes for your post play pick me up.

 

AFTERPARTY FURNITURE, RULES AND COMMUNITY KIT

Dungeon furniture for the BBB Afterparty is provided by The Alternative Lifestyle Factory ALF it's all for sale and can be taken home at the end of the night or ordered for delivery.

The community kit consisting of paddles, straps, canes, floggers and crops is sponsored by Bignbuff, kit is available to borrow for the evening, please clean and return before the end of the night.​​

Personal photos can only be taken in our designated photo areas. We provide a free photographer. Please see full details on our photo policy page.

 

ATTENDING ALONE?

Is it okay to attend alone? Absolutely! Whilst we appreciate it can be anxiety provoking and may not feel particularly cool, many people over the years have attended the BBB alone for their first time.It is very rare this happens again.We are vibrant, welcoming community who all remember our own first steps through those doors. We also offer a meet and greet service to help get you started on that journey. Our team of friendly and experienced community members are happy to help with a tours, introductions to traders and attendees as well as being available to help answer questions as you delve into our bizarre bazaar.

 

FIRST TIME AT BBB?

Don’t panic. A Meet and Greet team will be readily available from 12noon-4pm. You will always find in reception a collective of long standing community members, all representing various facets of the alternative lifestyle. With a wealth of knowledge of the market, the community and their own personal kinks, this special group of folks are on hand with the warmest of welcomes to get you started on your journey

FIRST TIME AT THE AP?

Not to worry, we have our meet and greet team available again in the evening to offer you a guided tour and help you find your feet.

We work on a frequency of honesty and openness, integrity, respect, creativity and inclusivity with the aim to provide a safe space for everyone to enjoy and explore.

 

We reserve the right to reject any application or offer to work with anyone who’s frequency does not match our own.

 

We pride ourselves on the working relationships we have built  and routinely recheck our frequencies to ensure the right long lasting relationships and a mutually safe space.  All decisions are final.
